It takes someone with very special qualities to be a Reef Divers staff member. We often review more than 100 job applications before finding one great match. We look for individuals who are passionate about taking care of our guests and the marine environment, and are focused on ensuring diver safety. They must be able to make it a great day for every diver in their care.
These Reef Divers Pros Will Care for You on Your Next Visit to Cobalt Coast Resort:
Chris from Dunedin, New Zealand, started diving in 2008 because snorkeling just wasn’t cutting it. Even after hundreds of dives, he still gets excited seeing new marine life underwater and does underwater photography when he’s not working. Chris is also our Dive Coordinator.
Rowan from Amersham, England, became a certified diver in 2005 to pursue his fascination with marine ecosystems and fish identification and came to Grand Cayman because he wanted to live in a tropical paradise. He enjoys finding marine life to show guests – especially macro life for photographers.
Lee from Yorkshire, England, began his diver training in Egypt in 2008. He had watched the underwater world on TV and wanted to explore it in real life. Lee’s favorite things about diving are the peace and quiet of the underwater world. And he loves being an observer in the interactions among marine life.
Lucy from Marlow, England, became a certified diver in 2013 while traveling around southeast Asia and Australia. She loves meeting all kinds of new people and making new places feel like home. Besides diving, Lucy also enjoys sailing, yoga, and cooking. Want to learn about Snubfin Dolphins? Ask Lucy – our resident expert.
Eamonn worked in Grand Cayman prior to the pandemic and spent a few years back in the frozen wastelands of Canada working in a high-altitude Ski Lodge. Thankfully he is now back to start defrosting and sharing his dive adventure stories with the newly returning guests at Cobalt Coast.
Lauren is a super positive Brit who loves getting to know and laugh with the Reef Divers guests. During the pandemic, Lauren worked closely with all types of wonderful creatures on the island and loves talking about her favorite parrot’s best friend.
