Let’s Go Diving
In general, at 7:45 AM we begin briefings for our morning 2-tank boat dives and at 1:45 PM for the afternoon 1-tank boat dives. Although most of our divers are guests staying at our resort on packages that include diving, if we have space we also sell individual dives a la carte on island.
We offer afternoon boat dive trips to the Kittiwake wreck and Stingray City, weather permitting. Divers on packages that include afternoon boat dives have these included at no extra charge. And guided night shore dives are available based on demand.
Reef Divers at Cobalt Coast has a new, large shore diving station equipped with rinse tanks, outdoor shower, and high benches for assembling gear in preparation to shore dive from our dock which is open to resort guests 24/7, weather permitting. We also have a brand new dryroom with space to securely hang your wetsuit and mes bag to dry with cubbies for your other gear.
We have a nice house reef for snorkeling or diving. And the north wall is just about 200 yards away. The availability of shore diving is far better in warm months than in winter.
We also rent tanks to divers not staying at our resort during hours that the Reef Divers shop is open – about 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (closed for lunch from 12:30 – 1:30). Per Cayman Islands regulations, outside tanks may not be brought in for diving.
